July 2019. In early July, I went on a one night backpacking trip into the Mokelumne Wilderness to Cole Creek Falls, at Silver Lake California, Eldorado National Forest. Cole Creek Falls is a spectacular 190 ft. high waterfall, hidden away in a remote canyon. It was an incredible adventure. But was it?
