3D Printed Scissor Poking Device | Barb Makes Things #12
Barb Makes Things6:072016DIY & Crafts
For the last couple years, I've dressed as a steampunk inventor for Halloween. (Yes, of course I made the costume) One of the accessories I created was a poking device: essentially a hand attached to a scissor mechanism, because why not? It was 3D printed on a Bukito. For this video, I recreated the pokey device at about 2/3 size, and showed how it's modeled in 123D Design. I'm using Proto Pasta's stainless steel filament for a lot of it, so the sanding/buffing step is aimed to increase the metal look. Let me know what kind of projects you'd like to see, and subscribe for more videos every Tuesday.
