This small cabaret theatre became the most influential and prolific comedy theatre in the world. With its roots in the improvisational games of Viola Spolin, The Second City developed an entirely unique way of creating and performing comedy. Essentially, The Second City uses improvisation as a rehearsal tool in order to create living, breathing comedy sketches. The Stuntmen use the techniques they learned at The Second City in their brand of comedy as well.
