Can recycling junkmail and journals lead to handmade paper sheets that are each an original piece of art? Kim Logue first learned the joy of handmade papermaking, in a small town in Arizona and shares short lesson, within a tour of a traveling studio. In 2010, the Festival of Moving Media and Ed Video began a multi-year project entitled Hidden Histories, with the intent of looking to the local, both in subject and talent. The focus was “Secret Places.” In collaboration with Musagetes,10 local filmmakers were commissioned to create short documentaries about secret places within Guelph’s 1mile2.
