Indiana Jones 3D Printed Prop Replicas

Here we have three replica props from the Indiana Jones movies. The idol of fertility, cross of coronado, and the headpiece from the staff or ra. All three props were 3d printed using 3dSolutechs white PLA. The idol and the headpiece were the easiest to assemble with the idol being one solid piece and the headpiece just needing two halves glued together. the idol did need to have some filling and sanding done but the headpiece was finished up with goldleaf as soon as the glue dried. after a short round of priming and sanding, the idol also got finished with gold leaf. the cross was a little bit more involved. it was printed in a few different parts which needed to be glued together. the Jesus figure was hollow, so it was filled using epoxy sculpt. the entire piece was then hand painted and the parts the were resting on top of paint, were attached using a 2 part epoxy. the final touch was attaching a gold colored chain.
