In this video, I backpack Pennsylvania’s Elk Trail in the Quehanna Wilds, hiking 16 miles over two days through remote forest, streams, and fall scenery. A peaceful weekend of backcountry camping, solitude, and classic Pennsylvania wilderness. Join me on a two-day backpacking adventure through Pennsylvania’s Elk Trail, a roughly 16-mile point-to-point trail winding through the Quehanna Wilds of Elk County. This quiet and remote stretch of forest offers peaceful solitude, wildlife, and beautiful woodland scenery. We hiked all the way to the end, set up camp beside a small stream, and enjoyed a cool fall evening in the backcountry. Water sources were scarce, but we made the most of it and had an incredible time exploring this rugged corner of north-central Pennsylvania.
