First, we will venture into the Magellanic Clouds, a dwarf galaxy located about 200,000 light-years from Earth. The Magellanic Clouds consist of two distinct galaxies, the Large Magellanic Cloud and the Small Magellanic Cloud, and are visible from the southern hemisphere of Earth. This galaxy is very interesting to astronomers because it contains a large amount of gas, making it conducive to star formation.
