Hot Ice Crystallization [Speed 4x] - Cool Chemistry Experiment
ScienceTech0:182013Science & Tech
Watch this cool chemistry experiment with hot ice. Hot ice is an oversaturated solution of sodium acetate. It is made by dissolving 160g of sodium acetate in 30ml of distilled water and then cooking it until it starts to boil. Tricky part is that crystallization is caused with small reactions, even with slightly touch, so it is probably impossible to cook it without causing crystallization. So if you manage to cook it, you should cool it down really fast, and then immediately try to have crystallization.
