MOTORISED STAIR CLIMBING WHEEL CHAIR #MOTORISED_STAIR_CLIMBING_WHEEL_CHAIR One of major problem for wheelchair users is crossing the terraced road, such as sidewalks, shopping centre, as well as up and down stairs. In this project we have designed and fabricated a prototype .The mechanism is similar to that of a tank that is conveyer belt mechanism. The wheels make the belt to move and which in turn grips on the stairs to climb it. In this project we have enhanced working as compared to conventional wheelchair. Our model can be made according to different loads and work requirements. Our model can go forward and backward on plain surfaces as well as can climb stairs. This project is expected to help wheelchair users, especially when climbing stairs along with some extra load .Our model is a multipurpose model which is basic resemblance of our vision for innovative and enhanced multipurpose design.
