RepRap Builder Story: How the Tantillus 3D Printer Was Born

Robots Dreams8:272012DIY & Crafts

Sublime (Brad) with Tantillus.org walked us through the background on the development of his innovative, precise, and compact 3D printer. With the Tantillus printer design, Sublime managed to pack a fully featured RepRap machine with a standard print volume (100x100x100) into a overall size that makes it highly portable. Based on his extensive experience building several generations of RepRap printers, he incorporated strong design features, like using herringbone gear assemblies.
