Things Go WRONG Backpacking In Extreme Cold

In this video, Tayson and the Outdoor Vitals team ski into the Deer Hollow Recreation Area and camp overnight in order to test out backpacking gear. Tayson sets out to prove that you can winter backpack by layering properly, rather than buying a whole bunch of specialty gear. However, things don't go as planned, and a great failure causes Tayson to deal with the cold winter temperatures alone in his tent, possibly having to pack out and ski back to the car in order to survive the freezing night.
