Check out the newly uploaded FULL version of this at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTkcRxXWHkI&l… Jun'ichi Kouchi's Namakura Gatana ("A Fine Sword") is a rather old and unique animation about an incompetent samurai who purchases a dull sword. He returns to complain to the seller only to be humiliated. Initially praised for its purely Japanese characters and subject matter upon its release in 1917, this animation has a very distinct style I've not seen elsewhere. The full animation is somewhere around 2 minutes long and is not available in its entirety. It was discovered in a well ventilated paper container in and antique shop in 2007. I have done my best to fix up the 34 seconds available which aired on a public broadcast. Hopefully, it will be released in its entirety one day as it's quite fun.
