1950s Tonka Fire Truck Restoration. (It sprays water)

Rebuilt & Restored26:062025DIY & Crafts

I bought this 1950s Tonka Fire Truck on eBay for... and thought it would make a neat restoration video. The truck is awesome. They just don't make things like they use to. let me know what you think in the comment section below. As seen in the restoration video I dismantled the toy and and then removed the rust by sandblasting and used rust remover for hard to reach areas. A special thanks to Prismatic Powders for sending me the powder for this restoration project. I used JB Weld as a filler to fill imperfections due to the high temperature rating. I bought several new parts and was able to find them on eBay and local stores. I hope you enjoyed this restoration video, and if you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comment section. (I do try to read comments:) Have a blessed day, Kev.
