Fish of the day | Comet Goldfish

Sorry for the glare the light gets that way when it hits the biofilm, and now facts about the Comet Goldfish. The Comet Goldfish is one if not the most common species of goldfish that are found on pet stores. The go at about 10-30 cents per fish (more depending on the store) and are normally about 1/2 a inch in length. However, don’t be fouled if your planning on getting one of these fish be prepared to care for a monster; these goldfish will grow to 12 inches or more depending on the size of their living space and should be kelp in a 20 gallon or larger tank. If you do this be warned that a key rule is that there should be one fish for every 20-40 gallons depending on the species.
