Making Great Tea Cold Processed Soap using wild harvested Labrador Tea from the Magdalen Islands. Using infusion, dried ground leaves and hydrosol, this soap is also enhanced with essential oils. My base oils are extra virgin olive oil, hemp seed oil, rice bran oil, coconut oil and organic and sustainable palm oil from https://www.palmdoneright.com Labrador Tea grows in the Maritimes area in bogs and undergrowth. It is a very slow to grow plant. If you decide to harvest it, make sure you have permission and be respectful of the resource. Don’t pick the new shoots of flowering leaves and never harvest more than 20% of a plant in order to allow it to regenerate. Labrador tea is fragile and over picking it could result in killing the plant over time. Cherish what mother nature offers you and it will thank you by providing resources year after year.
