Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 | One-Minute Game Review

Imagine having to follow-up two of the greatest superhero games ever created. Fan expectations were through the roof. The question is: Did Insomniac deliver? Today’s one-minute game review is on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Being able to swap back and forth between Peter Parker and Miles Morales may seem a little gimmicky on the surface. But, because their special abilities are fairly different, I felt that swapping characters kept the combat from ever becoming stale. To me, the boss fights seemed quite a bit more challenging than in the previous games, but I never got frustrated because the combat continuously felt fresh and fun throughout. The character swapping mechanic also serves the narrative, as this game essentially has three storylines: one that follows Peter, a second revolving around Miles, and the third is the main plot that involves everyone.
