Toby Garter: A Short Video Documentary

This is my first ever attempt at creating a video documentary as well as at narrating it. I followed Toby for a few hours in April 2010, as he went on his search for his mate. It was shot using a Sony DSC H7 camera, edited in Windows Live Movie Maker. Narration was recorded on Audacity 1.3 Beta. He is out exploring around the hibernacula where many other snakes hibernated for winter. The Eastern Garter Snake is the commonest snake of Ontario. They are semi-venomous, and prefer hunting smaller prey such as spiders, frogs and fish. Here we see two males interacting and gathering information by flicking their tongues.
