Dave the Diver - 60 second game review

Dave the diver is a fishing RPG and restaurant management game. It’s core artstyle is 8-bit 2D, but it’s set in a 3D landscape. During the day you will dive into the deep blue hole, a local diving spot that is full of aquatic life. Equipped with a diving knife, harpoon gun and other fish catching weapons, you will dive down into the depths of the ocean on the hunt for resources, items and fish. Advancing deeper you will need to upgrade your diving gear, weapons and carrying capacity. All of this is so that you are able to fight bigger fish with bigger and more bountiful hauls. You will encounter different characters each with their own motives, side stories and rewards. The cut scenes are these carefully crafted comedic anime style sequences, which are so much fun to watch and add real character to the game.
