How to start 3D printing with the Creality Ender 3 for beginners

I chose the Ender 3 primarily because of it's reasonable cost. I paid $180 which included shipping. Shop around, different sites offered different prices. So i then downloaded the Raised 3D Ideamaker slicer and it has been working fine so far. For my first filament, I chose a PLA from Hatchbox which I picked up on Amazon. I've been pretty pleased with it so far.
