Backpacking 72 Miles on the Quehanna Trail | 4 Days in Pennsylvania’s Wildest Forest - Part 1

Backpacking Adventures33:522025Viagens

Caleb and I set out to backpack the entire 72-mile Quehanna Trail — a rugged and remote loop through the heart of Pennsylvania’s Quehanna Wild Area. We spent 4 days and 3 nights covering long miles each day, camping deep in the forest, and soaking in the quiet of one of the most remote places in the state. The weather was great for most of the trip, and while the fall colors were a little dull this year, the scenery made up for it — open meadows, rocky ridges, peaceful streams, and miles of solitude. This trail definitely lived up to its reputation for being wild. If you enjoy long-distance backpacking, hammock camping, and true backcountry adventure, you’ll like this one. 🗺 Trip Stats: • Trail: Quehanna Trail Loop (Clearfield & Elk Counties, PA) • Distance: ~72 miles • Duration: 4 days / 3 nights • Campsites: Multiple backcountry sites along the loop • Conditions: Mild fall temps, mostly dry trail Follow me on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/backpacking_adventu… Fol
