Repair of hand wheel bushing on Apron for Clausing 5913 lathe IMG 3230

I finally got around to re boring the casting and making the bushing for the gear and shaft for the hand wheel. This is no easy or simple task. The shaft has a gear on the end of it and meshes with another gear inside the casting. I would call it a blind gear repair. It is somewhat like working with a blind fold on. If the centerline was known on the factory production drawing it would be EZ-PZ but Clausing does not provide production information only assy drawings. I will sleep good tonight knowing that I did not destroy the casting by boring it in the wrong location.
