First make sure the cymbal rod isn’t loose. It has to be tight, your hihat will spin otherwise. Tighten it on the mechanic at the bottom of the stand and in the middle, you can use a gripper for it. Also change the spring tension of the hihat stand as the vh-11 pad is really heavy. Remove the felt and apply the insulating plate before attaching the motion sensor. The jack plug has to point to the right side. Apply the cymbal including clutch, don’t tighten the clutch screw yet. Make sure that the name “Roland” on the hihat is
