UP6358 West - CPP376 - Glenns Ferry, ID
R. Cody Erben2:422013
After catching the UP6358 at MP361.75 (see part 1 below), I raced ahead to CPP376 at the west end of Glenns Ferry to snag the next scene. At 11:46 on March 31, 2001, the MNPHK begins to slow, signifying one thing, a pause to tack on helpers. With a number of empties in the train, the SD40-2's stationed in Glenns Ferry are waiting ahead on main #1 and will tack-on to the head-end to assist UP6358 and UP4233 for the westward climb up Medbury Hill. All video shot on a Sony VX2000.
