Filament Friday #58 - 3D Printed Multi-Adjustment Ryobi Table Saw Vacuum Attachment

CHEP4:402016Bricolage

Chuck tests out his 3D printed adjustable vacuum adapter on his Ryobi Table saw. The design is based on a simple coupling he found on Thingiverse that he up sized 200% and then used in Tinkercad to design a base and funnel to make the fully positional vacuum hose extension. The original purpose was to collect sawdust flying off the blade and he puts it to the test in this weeks Filament Friday. The Coupling's were printed on the Fabrikator Mini using left over DaVinci Red ABS Filament at 0.2 layer, 30% fill sliced iwth Simplify3D. The Base and Funnel were printed in PLA on the DaVinci Jr. at 0.3 layer and 30% fill sliced with XYZware. Its designed to fit a Harbor Freight Shopvac hose.
