Goodbye Pork Pie Hat aka Good Bi(tonal) Pork Pie Hat in D and F

I first heard this Charles Mingus tune on John McLaughlin's My Goals Beyond where he played it (very beautifully) in D. Recently I thought I'd play it at a solo concert and thought I'd double check the music since I hadn't thought about the tune for maybe a million years... Anyway the chart I found was in F but I liked the lower darker way the chords sounded in D... So just screwing around I whited out the chords and put them in D... Low and behold it sounded really cool when I paused half way into the transposition and played the chords in D and the melody in F! (At least I thought so...) Some parts had to be messed with a bit to accommodate the new situation... Just on the first head here (headless end...) Anywhat, Goodbitonal porkpie hat
