Waterfall Road Trip in Brazil

The waterfall of Riachinho has refreshing cascading water, natural water slides, hydro massages and a nice swimming area. Cachoeira do Riachinha is located in Vale do Capão, a village in the Chapada Diamantina National Park. The Capão village has a wonderful weekend market with lots of unique handmade jewelry and art. The dark coloration of the water is due to decomposing organic matter from the rocky soil of the Chapada Diamantina, rich in tannic, iron and humic acid.
