As Iain Edwards went to bed on the evening of August 1st, 1989, he had everything a man could want: a loving wife of 21 years, three wonderful daughters under the age of 13, a big, beautiful home and a successful orthodontics practice in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. His wife Margueritte commented as they went to sleep together that night, "our life is too perfect." Less than twenty-four hours later, that perfect life was over. After learning that Margueritte had failed to pick their daughters up from school, Iain returned home to discover his wife brutally murdered, her body dumped in the walk-in wardrobe of their bedroom. And just like that, Iain's dream life was suddenly a nightmare. With no leads in the case, suspected by the community of murdering his beloved wife, his family shattered, Iain felt as though he'd lost everything.
