Alexis was a gifted, charming, and sometimes troubled man who influened many - but whose own life and work were shot through with paradoxes. How do you pack a whole lifetime into a fifty minute radio programme? You can't. But hopefully this programme will serve as a short introduction to Alexis and his work.
