Our Inktober Day 29 is actually Day 28 as we had the great luck of being in Porto for Latada! We decided to leave Ody in Miramar after a busy morning of video editing to go see the festivities first hand. Latada, also known as "Festa das Latas," is a day when the freshman at University in Porto are baptized or initiated into their respective faculties. The students dress up in colorful costumes or their traditional school uniform and cover themselves in cans to create as much noise as possible when running through the city. Lou and I couldn't believe the scene before us and I'm so happy I was able to include a drawing that represents the city in such a special way.
