Wild Sulphur Crested Cockatoo Eating Sunflowers

http://www.macrokosm.com ---------- This morning we had a wild sulphur-crested cockatoo pop in for breakfast. The menu consisted of sunflower seeds, however its sneaky friend was in the back yard eating mangoes - or at least sitting in the mango tree. Brisbane really is quite fortunate in terms of the array of wild parrots, with (off the top of my head) at least four kinds of lorikeet, five or six cockatoo species, a few varieties of rosella, and some ground parrots (I'm almost certainly forgetting some). Many of these we often see from our suburban home, too. ------------ Playlist: Australian Birds and Other Wildlife - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqISXh…
