Bhutan preserves its environment and its covers 72% of its country under forest coverage whereby some are national park, wildlife sanctuaries and biological corridors to protect our wildlife from extinction. In Bhutan we have a law which says that by any means we have to maintain 60% of forest coverage forever to come. So we celebrate foresty day on every june 2 where we all come together and plant each sibling of plant to preserve our pristine forests.
