Electrolysis of water with pencil #electrolysis

Hello friends, In today's video, I am going to show you how to carry out electrolysis of water very easily using just pencil and a 9V battery. This experiment will be very interesting for our kids for understanding the principles of electrolysis of water. When the pencil is connected to the 9 Volt battery, water gets split into hydrogen and oxygen in the ratio 2:1. Hydrogen gas gets generated at the negative terminal and oxygen gas at the positive terminal.
