How to Build a Gantry Crane Part 6 VSEQ 006

This is the sixth in a sequence of videos produced to show the fabrication of a Gantry Crane. In this video we machine out an pocket for an internal thread. Using a Kennametal Thread Mill we machine a 1-1/2" by 16 TPI thread in the hexagonal stock to produce two special cap nuts for the anti-rotation assembly installed on each of the two "A" Frames of the Gantry Crane.
