Panasonic 2008 plasma TV in 480 fps and 1000 fps slow motion

I took this video of a Panasonic TH-42PZ81B in slow motion at both 480 fps and 1000 fps. This is one of Panasonic's first 1080p (FHD) plasma TVs made in 2008 and so is not representative of the latest plasma technology but shows the general principle of operation of a plasma display, working by combining multiple "sub-fields" to build up the image.
