RARE ARCTIC FISH IDENTIFIED

Rare Arctic Fish Identified. This strange deep sea creature caught in the arctic waters off Northern Canada and has been identified as a species of long-nosed chimaera, likely Rhinochimaera atlantica or more commonly known as a Knifenose Chimaera. Little is known about this rare fish because it lives at such great depths.
