Our van was acting up, the winter storm had caught us and we were turned away by multiple mechanics, then in the middle of a highway, smoke started pouring out of the dashboard. Stranded in rural Wyoming, with no help in sight. This was one of those days that reminds us how fragile life on the road can be, especially when travelling America in an old van.
