Prevents your filter from clogging prematurely in your shop vac. Separates the dust and debris with simple cyclone action. No fancy baffles. Plain, simple and practical. NOTE: Some have said static could be an issue. When I tested this, it was on concrete and static was not an issue for me. If you are building yours on a wood stand, you may want to add a ground wire.
