Duck Family

Mama duck nested in our yard next to the bird of paradise plant for a month until her eggs hatched a few weeks ago. She returned with her brood this morning to show me how they've grown. During her month of nesting, I protected her from lawn cutters and leaf blowers, and talked to her every day. A blessing for me to see them all, alive and thriving. What a good Mama Duck.
